Thank you for shopping at Shifted Standard eBikes. We take immense pride in our custom engineering, strict vehicle inspections, and premium build quality. We want you to be completely thrilled with your new machine.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our policy below regarding returns, refunds, and order cancellations.
1. Returns Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, please ensure that the following criteria are met:
- Timeframe: You must initiate your return request within 14 days from the date you received your item.
- Condition: The item must be unused, unridden, free from dirt, dust, or fragments, and in the exact condition that you received it. It must be in its original factory packaging with all original contents (manuals, chargers, keys, tools, etc.) included.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process your return.
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of custom fabrication and high-performance equipment, the following items cannot be returned:
- Custom Builds: Any vehicles customized to your specific configurations, paint choices, or custom parts requests (including custom Mini Trikes and unique lifestyle builds).
- Electrical Components: Individual batteries, upgraded controllers, and dynamic tuning kits that have been opened or plugged in.
- Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Items marked as “Sale” or purchased during clearout events are final sale.
2. Order Cancellations
We move fast to get your ride built and secured. Once an order is confirmed, our team typically initiates logistics and freight allocation within 5 to 7 business days.
- Standard Stock Items: Cancellations made before the item has shipped will receive a full refund minus a 3% payment processing fee. If the item has already left our facility, it falls under our standard returns policy, and shipping fees will not be refunded.
- Custom Build Cancellations: Because custom creations require immediate material allocation and dedicated labor, cancellations on custom orders made after 48 hours of purchase are subject to a 15% material restocking fee.
3. Shipping Damage & Inspections
We inspect every single machine rigorously before it is secured for freight delivery via our premium parcel and freight networks. However, shipping heavy equipment can occasionally result in transit wear.
- Inspection Upon Arrival: You must inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any significant damage to the box, please make a note of it when signing for delivery with the carrier (USPS, FedEx, DHL, or freight liner).
- Reporting Damage: If your machine arrives damaged, take clear photos and videos of the packaging and the damage immediately. Contact our 24/7 technical support team within 48 hours of delivery, and we will ship out replacement parts or arrange a carrier exchange at zero cost to you.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: For standard returns (buyer’s remorse, incorrect sizing choice, etc.), the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Heavy freight shipping for electric dirt bikes, quads, and mini trikes can be expensive, so we highly recommend contacting us for a discounted return freight label.
- Restocking Fee: All standard returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover the cost of diagnostic testing, safety inspections, and repackaging.
- Insurance: If you are shipping an item over $100, you must use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Refunds Process
Once your return is received and thoroughly inspected by our tech specialists to verify its condition, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your returned item.
- Approval: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on our inspection.
- Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.
